Pitt quarterback Kenny Pickett revealed on Wednesday that he grew up a Notre Dame fan, despite living in North Jersey. That will make this week’s trip to South Bend to play the No. 5 Fighting Irish even more special for Pickett, the Panthers’ sophomore starting quarterback.
It’ll also be another chance for Pitt to cement its status as a team that can beat anyone on any given Saturday. The Panthers have beaten a top-five team in each of the last two seasons.
